Yes - believe it, we have working units of the two-switch , double-diode boost converter.
The AC comes through the boost choke and into the sides of the "bridge" formed by the two low side FETs (or igbt's) and the two high side diodes (both higher speed types).
The problem for many has been how to get the current information to the control IC for proper operation, current limiting etc. Also how to recreate the rectified sine wave signal for proper operation of standard PFC I.C.'s

We have used standard UPF control IC's like the UC3854N, UCC3817D to control the two switch booster from 90VAC to 275VAC with our novel current extraction technique.
